The concept is OK, but there's an issue that makes that unfeasible: the
sensor itself is located under a protective layer a few milimeters thick.
Any sensor on a detachable back for an already designed 35mm SLR would get
on the way of the shutter.

On the other hand, there *are* digital backs for exisisting *MF* SLRs, but
on these cameras the film plane is quite recessed on the magazine's flange,
leaving enough room for a digital sensor.
