Yes, I know that, but it really doesn't matter to me. The casual snaps I 
would want the built-in flash for would be done with the EF lens anyway.

I'm more of a tele sort of fellow, so the 24-85 is similar to the lenses 
I use on OMs that start at 35mm. I'd be more likely to go 70-200/4 
before a shorter lens. And I have 18 and 21mm Zuikos and a 19-35mm zoom 
available.

It's not the software, at least not Zoombrowser. I posted yesterday some 
speedy download times using that software and a USB 2.0 reader. I think 
the reader is even faster without the software, but the difference is 
nothing compared to the USB 1.1 on the camera vs. a USB 2.0 reader.

If you want wide AF, have you looked at the Sigma 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 EX 
DG AF
