Thanks for the advice CH. I have also found that the Kodachromes I'm
having the most trouble with are all under-exposed. The dark areas of the
slide give the most trouble. I'm assuming that is where the IR channel starts
to pick up stuff that ICE tries to correct. Well exposed or light slides are 
more
transparent. I'm also having trouble pulling out shadow detail, even with ice 
off.
