Agreed Winsor.  And especially so on a lower-resolution scanner without film
handling facilities.  I don't know about this particular Minolta model, but
from experience with a cheap 1800dpi single frame scanner I would advise
thinking very carefully about the capacity for speedy throughput.  You may
well realise that your time saved is well worth an additional $150.

I would not want to spend that much time just to catalog. Scanning is very
time intensive.
