That's difficult to understand! Perhaps Olympus are really strapped
for cash and cannot afford to pay for the codewriters to support the
Mac. Considering, at a guess, that about 25% of us use Macs at home,
that might have been a good investment – drawing the general inference
that we represent Oly users ;-).
