Focus on a spot of dust as you look through the eyepiece. Then move your eye
slightly from side to side, staying focused on the dot.  If the dot changes
position in relation to a point on the focus screen , then it is on the
prism.  If it stays in the same spot relative to the focus screen, then
that's where it is.
