Actually, I don't find that the subject makes that much difference. In
my sort this morning (of about half a days postings), I started with 78
new messages. After deleting, based on subject line alone, the ones that
obviously had nothing to do with Olumpus cameras, I was left with 30.
(Yes, more than 63% of the posts to this forum have nothing to do with
Olympus cameras.)

Six of those thirty were timewasters. (If you're going to welcome someone
to the list, why does every list member have to know? Just send it to
the guy you're welcoming!) (And yes, that brings us up to 70% posts that
have nothing to do with Olympus cameras.)

The rest seem, at first glance, more or less on topic.

Anyway, there's some interesting stuff on this list, but not enough to
make it worth wading through all of the rubbish. It's not that it takes
up all that much time, but like spam, it's irritating, and who wants to
spend even a little time on this?

Since my impression is that most of the people on the list prefer things
this way, I think I'll be signing off now. But thanks for the little bit
of info I did get here.
