Olympus set to debut new E-System Digital SLR at Photokina
A teaser ad that launches when you first enter the Olympus eSystem web site
hints of a new E-System Digital SLR that will be announced at Photokina
2004. Photokina takes place in Cologne Germany from 9/28/2004 - 10/3/2004.
The Olympus E-System is the world's first SLR digital camera system to take
advantage of the Four Thirds Standard and is dedicated to the special
requirements of digital SLR photography, presenting new benchmarks for
professional image quality and performance.
The Olympus E-1 announced in 2003 was aimed toward the high-end professional
photographer which leads many to believe that the new Esystem, to be
announced at Photokina, will be a more consumer or "prosumer" priced model.
