I would second Evans recommendation for a 85 to 135mm tele. Barcelona has
some fantastic architecture and this type of lens will help you isolate
details. I also used my tele for people shots on their evening ramble, an
opportunity not to be missed IMO.

I would recommend a mild telephoto. Parc Guell has some nice opportunities
