HK, you do not think that a consumer level wide angle zoom as opposed 
to the Oly 21/2 high end prime that wowed everyone for its quality when 
it was issued has anything to do with recording less fine detail in the 
digital image? It is interesting too that the scanned film seems to 
have less dynamic range with more over exposed highlights and darker 
shadows with less detail than the digital image. The extra contrast can 
make it look like there is more detail. I don't really think the 
argument is made and if a careful test would be done and a difference 
found, it would be so small as to be insignificant.
