Well on Wednesday September 1st at 8am the brilliant surgical team (and
pretty student nurses) in the University of Leuven Hospital (Belgium)
opened my heart, repaired the mitral valve, and sewed me up again. On
Saturday 11th I was allowed home and now I have to take it easy for
several weeks. Perhaps I'll sort my slide collection?
Thanks for your good wishes before I went in - very glad to be back and
pumping at full pressure!
