I've not come across any problem at all with the C*n*n 1D MkII and that
includes using a couple of lenses with the Vivitar 2x macro convertor.

Yes, the E-1 exposure accuracy did change with OM lenses when stopped down
at different apertures. But this problem is MUCH more serious in the 10D,
don't know about 300D.
