A perspective correction lens isn't used just to eliminate converging lines,
it lets you move them around and quickly to see other views of the scene ...
perhaps you want that fence or river to recede away or maybe there's
something blocking the position which gives the best perspective so you move
to the side and shift the lens ...

It's more satisfying to move the camera than to distort the already captured
image ... YMMV
