It is indeed my supposition and I freely admit that in my own e-mail. But what 
John wrote was:

Not "could" or "might", but *will*.

Based on this, if you're firing at 5 fps, that give you somewhere between 0.4 
and 0.6 of a second to react and release the trigger before the film *will" 
rip. My supposition is that releasing the trigger in less than half a second is 
probably unlikely, hence on Sequence the film *will* rip.

What am I missing?
