I've asked myself the same question. And I don't know the answer so will
be pleased to see the responses.
But may I add the following one: what does it do when the panel's
reversed and it's on "Auto control by OM-2" mode?

PS: What I do know, when I did the manual check on the different f No's
against my Lunasix F it gave the right (i.e. corresponding) f number --
somewhat to my surprise. So it appears to work, but how?
