Right.  Sometimes there is a hole in the middle of the felt 
pad through which the screw can be accessed with a very 
smaller slot screwdriver, but in my case, I had to peel the 
pad away to get to it (which makes you feel like a very bad 
person).  The pad goes back into place OK.

The adjustments in question need to be very slight. Tighten 
just enough to provide resistance to the shift creep.  
Could be as little as a 1/16 of a turn!
