Hello Lars,

I've tried them both and here are my thoughts:

E1 is better from the 20D in built quality, ergonomics and color
reproduction. The E-system lenses despite from the ads are bulky and
heavy like the Canons- or they feel like it. The D20 Autofocus is far
away especially in the continuous Autofocus mode. The E1 is much more
quite than the D20. Finally the biggest issue with the E1 is digital
noise from ISO 800 and above whereas the D20 delivers acceptable images
even in ISO 3200. I own the E1 and the D20 came into my hands after a
two week trade with a friend.
He believes that the D20 isn't a big step over the D10 except resolution
(8MP vs. 6.3MP).
My suggestion is go for the D10 (prices are running low now if you
already own Canon lenses, otherwise go for the E1).
I have made my decision.

Regards,
Stylianos

Hi,

I haven't followed the discussions closely lately, so my question might
have
been answered already, but I'd like to ask if any of you have tried the
new
Canon D20 DSLR and how does it compare with Olympus' E-1?

Yours,
Lars
