You have some excellent shots. I particularly like the Sannat Church,
Steriling Castle and the Horse pictures. After you have had some time to
live with the Minolta, I would be interested in your impressions.

After managing to get the purchase of a Minolta Scan Dual IV signed-off by
the SO (no mean feat after a protracted and very expensive house move) a
couple of months ago I've been going through the back catalogue (which only
started 18 months ago) scanning any images that I thought might be OK. In
most aspects of photography I'm still pretty green, so the technical
standard will not be up to the levels that many of you are used to.
However, constructive criticism will help me improve. I would be grateful
for any advice or comment (try not to be too hard, I'm really a fragile
soul ;-)) regarding both the images and possible suggestions for
improvement with regard to the scanning such as optimising filesize for the
web without sacrificing too much quality.
I have been admiring the exceptional quality of list members work (whilst
lurking most of the time) week in week out and it is with some trepidation
that I post this link. Please note that this is only a temporary website
while I finish the one I'm writing myself and warn you that it one of those
rubbish free sites with advertising etc. But it is free. I just thought
it time that I contribute something.
