More fooling around with my new E-1. My OM to Four-Thirds adapter arrived
Saturday just as I was about to go for a late afternoon walk. So I quickly
mounted a 50/1.4 multicoated OM Zuiko ("Japan" but not "made in", S/N in
the 700,000s.) It was the "golden hour" with nearly horizontal light and
deep blue shadows. I converted several shots to B&W due to the very mixed
light and/or white balance fumbling.

The following outdoor pictures were shot at mid apertures, mostly f/5.6 or
8. Focusing a 50/1.4 on the E-1 is not a problem in good light. It does
take a second or two. Quickly changing the aperture after focusing is a
pain. Especially when wearing gloves!

Somewhere in Seattle, a liberal has lost his rear view. . .

(this is not a political statement, just an amused reaction to the clutter)

Fiddlin' on the roof:

Now, here's some available light shots of dinner with a colleague:

The 50/1.4 at 1/80th and f/2. Slightly misfocused, but I like the shot anyway:

Now f/1.4, but focused on the front of the yellow dish in the
foreground. It's flan, a classic Argentinian dessert.

Rose hip tea:

Wider angle, back to the 14-54 digital lens, 1/30 at f/2.8.

I'll have to try the camera with some other OM lenses and see how I do.
