Since the cells showed at least some voltage 
the charger should be OK.

Poor beyond functionality? Or 'just' ugly, 
beaten up and not OM-lover-ish?

That is the same point where I sit with my T45 
as well. It looks nice, though. But NiCd pack is 
pretty dead or at least dying too.

When going through mock-up use with T45, pack 
inserted, camera mounted, I find the whole rig 
not balanced at all. Way to heavy on the flash 
handle side. A setup with BG2+T32 plus 2nd T32 on 
hot shoe feels sorta more balanced and comfortable. 
This lacks the T45 recycling speed though (if the 
T45 NiCd pack is well alive!).

And if I need power and fast recycling I still 
have a Metz 60 CT 2 with SCA 520, balancing much 
nicer, because the energy part dangles seperately 
from my shoulder.

I should *bay the T45. But then, that grabbing 
collector's soul in me starts howling ...
