Greg reported an SM card that can't be read in camera or on the PC.
Claims to need formatting.
Try <http://www.lexar.com/drivers/index.html> and scroll down to the
"Image Rescue" section near the bottom of the page. Not sure if it will
work on other than Lexar cards but give it a try. Alternatively, the
manufacturer of whatever brand you're using may offer a similar utility
at their web site. No doubt there are other such utilities floating
around in the ether and loacatable with a Google search.
Note that the Lexar utility consists of a version 1 and a version 2
update. You need to install version 1 first before installing the
update. I have the utility but fortunately have never had to use it.
