I have purchased equipment, both new and used from Henry's off and on
for over 30 years. On site in Toronto their used equipment prices are
pretty consistent with the 'norm'. Their rating system is good and I,
at least, have never been dissapointed. I have also purchased from KEH.
They are very helpful and once you are in their system they send you
their catalogue in the mail each month, which is a nice little bonus..
Both are very reputable stores and back what they sell. As the USD and
Cdn dollar get closer in value KEH prices will also improve for
Canadians. A third company that I have corresponded with but as yet
have not purchased from is Vintage Visuals Photographic
(www.vintagevisuals.com) in Calgary. Their prices seem very reasonable
and they have listed some quite interesting items in the past.
