Chris,
I'm not sure what happened in that shot except that I made a mess of the
exposure. A correctly exposed effort I shot didn't have the same 'spooky'
feel to it so I went with the 'accident'. In general terms I think the
received wisdom is that a red filter will increase constrast but I was
helped by it being late on in the day. Thanks for looking.
