Enrique, Bright snow will tax the latitude of slide film. The highlight,
shadow and spot button on the OM4 is great. Bring higher ASA film too.
Just because sun on snow can be bright doesn't mean you'll see any in
Chilean Patagonia :>( The weather is better on the Argentine side. On
both sides the wind is a problem and a real danger of tipping over
tripods, blowing away tents and damaging fine glass with blowing gravel.
The polarizer Fernando recommended is a good idea as the skies can be
spectacular especially on the east side of Parque Paine and Argentine
side where you have a better chance of seeing blue. I expect to see some
pictures when you get back.
