CZ had a terrific Motocross record.
I huge dirt bike fan and still have a 1972 Yankee 500Z, 1974 Can-AM and
some more modern enduro bikes.
I remember Jiraslov Falta coming over to the US to race in the Los
Angeles Coliseum in 1975. I was the director of Marketing for Can-Am at
the time and we won with Jimmy Ellis riding that night.
Jawa did VERY WELL in the International Six Days Enduro. I am happy and
surprised to see the ISDE mentioned on this list. I love the ISDE and
have gone to many of them over the years starting in 1973 in the USA.
My production company has done a 1 hour show on the ISDE for the Outdoor
Life Network for the last 3 years. We shot Yablonec nad Nissou in the
Czech Republic in 2002 and Brazil in 2003. both are available in DVD on
our website www.isde.tv or on Amazon and other places. Search for ISDE
2003.

Jawa motorbike producer is much more known than CZ.
Jawa had some good results in international six-days enduro in those
years.
It was also participation in Paris-Dakar in 80's but without success.
Now there is Jawa Divisov small producer of very specific speedway
racing
motorbikes for both dry and ice speedways which are usual equipment
of world top in this special but (i don't know how in US) relatively
popular
motorcycle discipline (of course not like motocross or moto GP).
