I think it is all about 'communication' and that
includes speech (=telephone), text (=SMS),
pictures (=logos, photographs), internet (=WAP,
or 'real' net) and -- already here or coming
music (=MP3, WMA etc.), movies (=MPEG4). And
communication needs handling, that is phone
number lists, calendars, filofax, song lists,
URL-lists ... etc. etc.
The kids want it all (do they?), and they want
it in ONE device, that camera-musicplayer-
organizer-phone-gitzmo.
TV likes to compete. The least they can do is
to be ever-present at any technical device you
spend more than 10 seconds ... with voice
navigation coming, your fridge will read your
mails aloud or so (or blue-tooth them to your
hearing aid ...).
Ain't tech fun? ;-)
