That is a popular cliche, but...

You CAN drive a nail with a rock, but who would want to?  Some cars 
just make good driving easy. Some cameras just allow you to make 
pictures without getting in the way of the brain, like OMs and Leica 
Ms. Unfortunately that long lasting scam of American marketing called 
abstract expressionism has caused us to find "meaning" in things like 
found objects and the occasional pleasing Holga image and confused them 
with art.
