OM-3 shutter is simple design. Repair is very straightforward and the 
shutter has proven itself to be quite reliable, as reliable as any OM-4 
shutter.  I heard from one customer recently who said a repair shop in his 
country wanted $500+ to tune-up his 4T because (hidden meaning) it was a 
rare and expensive camera.
