The Vivitar Series 1/Phoenix/?? 19-35/3.5-4.5 is the reasonably priced 
and well performing one in this range, depending on what you call 
normal. You may have noticed Walt carrys it along with the legendary 
35-80/2.8 Zuiko, and 80-200/2.8 Tamron SP and others here use them too.
