A macro lens is optimized for closer focusing, and will generally have a
flat focal field. Those meant to be directly mounted on cameras will
generally have longer focusing helicals to permit close focus.

The Zuiko 80mm can focus to infinity on a 25mm extension tube. But it would
be inconvenient. A better choice would be the 50/3.5 - a very nice normal
lens, except that bokeh can be a problem at mid-apertures. The 50/2 and 90/2
are very nice and pricey.

Only dumb question is the one you don't ask.
