Yesterday I developed, and this morning, after overnight drying (of both it and
me), examined with 8x and 20x loupes the two rolls of Efke 25 film I used to
take test shots with the new-to-me "old" Mamiya RB67 Pro-S and the five
new-to-me LN Mamiya-Sekor C lenses: 50/4.5, 90/3.8, 127/3.8, 140/4.5 Macro, and
180/4.5.

AFAIK, this is the finest-grained B&W film in the world, being the old Adox
KB-14 forumla. The closer I look and the more I try to find something to
nit-pick in these negatives, the happier I get. This is one helluva outfit,
and it cost me less than $1500! I'm as happy as a corn-fed boar hog belly-deep
in warm mud being wallowed on by a herd of very attractive (to a hog) in-season
sows.

Like Sophia Loren, the years have been much more than kind to my new Mama
Mamiya. I think I'll celebrate by digging out the DVD and watching "Grumpier
Old Men" again. I love it when Sophia says, "I'd rather kiss a moose's butt!"
I wonder if that gets our Moose worked up too.

This is going to be a fun Spring!
