The tab on the back likely just needs adjusting. If you have a back from
another body (any OM-1/2/3/4 back will do) give that a try and see if it
fixes the problem. You should also check that the trim plate over the latch
hasn't come loose. It's the piece on the body which sits on top of the latch
and has a raised edge. If it's loose it may allow the latch to raise up and
slip.
