Canon 1Ds weight (exc. batt): 1265 g / 44.6 oz. (Body only, battery:
335 g/11.8 oz.) for a grand total of 56.4 oz. 5 pounds with an average
lens.
Weight: 1,660g (58.6 oz.) with AE pentaprism finder 67II and without
batteries. Probably lighter than the Canon if you forgo the pentaprism.
