All of the DSLRs have anti-aliasing filters to limit the resolution
reaching the sensor. Assuming the Oly D lenses are designed for an
eventual sensor resolution of at least 12mp, and maybe more, this
proposed practical test, while interesting, would not provide a full
answer to the question with the currently available bodies.
