I will post a link here to a site where there are more than a few
experts on this subject.
However, in light of the moderators recent posting regarding pirating, I
will state up front, in keeping with the software authors' stated
position, this site
DOES NOT PROMOTE PIRATING.
It does offer a program to make backup copies of personally owned CDs'
and DVDs' that have copy protection.
Due to the nature of the program, the author and some forum members
there are VERY knowledgeable about the drives and media used to produce
CDs' and DVDs'.
