Yes, I use them for regular data backups for documents. It's only about  
300Mb, but with a RW in there I can just save 'em all in case of disaster.  
Some would say my prose IS a disaster, but...

Also, I find them lasting longer. This is purely my own limited  
experience. Someone with more knowledge may well tell me that this is  
hogwash, but I don't consider CDRs an archive, just a handy storage for  
scans. Film is the archive.
