Oh yes John. I told the marketing manager of Olympus UK that I would
not buy an E-1 unless the adaptor was available free. He agreed to
provide one for me, as a one-off, and I bought the E-1 on the education
discount from Campkins of Cambridge.
Both offers are probably finished by now, but I am sure that you could
still get both the discount and the free adaptor were you to press the
point.
