It does make sense - until you try to take the F280 off a shoe for which it
was not designed. If you think you might do that, you maybe want to provide
a similar slope on the rear face of the big pin.
The archives have the details of my particular knowledge of this aspect . .

It makes sense to have the slope that way as it slides into the shoe, Just
wanted to confirm before it wwas more difficult to put right. And its not so
easy to see how they line up as you put them on the shoe.
