Probably "off-the-wall", but I wonder about the results using an Agfa 
Arcus scanner?  I too never standardized on Agfa chromes because of 
availability, but other than that I loved the stuff.  I preferred the 
colour balance.  Again, more Zen than Pentacostal revival meeting. :-D
