At least here corporate responsiblity counts for even less, but they
are being increasingly shielded from liability for anything under
cover of protecting them from the occasional individual. Enron is
perhaps the most famous for swindling the residents of the west
coastal states out of billions of dollars and United Airlines winning
the right to discontinue retirement benefits to their current and
former employees.
