Which makes me ask a question.

One of the joys of the OM system is the brilliant engineering
that made complex things simple and simple things efficient.
The OM-4T, for example, has a highly complex feature, multi-spot
metering, that is very simple to learn and use. The OM-2n is
one of those cameras that makes you smile. Just like a Leica M4,
the OM equipment just feels right and wears like a quality
glove.

The engineering and feature set of the D2X is incredible. This
is a camera that looks like it's THE camera to use as a
picture-taking machine.

But does it "inspire" you to take better pictures or does it
"allow" you to take better pictures. Do you get that "warm
fuzzy" feeling with the D2X that you get with the OM? Is there
a favorite Nikkor lens yet or do they all "do the job"?

I ask this because as much as I like the E-1, I feel much more
"inspired" when using an OM and/or using an old lens.
