Might do if it was actually Olympus. The user id in question is cheeky at best
and potentially very confusing. Fortunately he does not claim to be Olympus in
the listing text or he really would be guilty of passing off. OA's offical id
is olympusamerica and they are aware of tisi guy but have chosen to do nothing
about it (yes I have told them myself and their eBay specialist was rather
blunt in dismissing my concerns). Also there is not a word on this problem in
eBay's TOC or help system.
As far as I am aware is there is no problem with a private individual selling
the adapter they gave you for free. It might be an issue if a shop sourced them
from Olympus in quanity as promotional items and then started to sell them.
The seller of this lens is not correct in stating that it would be a 1200mm
lens on an E-X, it would give you a view similar to a 2000mm. If you could
control vibration that is :). BTW I believe that this lens was purchased in the
school sell off that happened a while back for about a 1/3 of the BIN price
here.
