Was my comment too strong? Ok, how about this:
The E-1 is able to produce sharper images in the 1/8 to 1/30
range than the OM line because the vertical shutter design,
smaller mirror and increased mass. Hand-damping of the equipment
is no longer required. This difference is most often seen with
200mm and longer lenses.
