Me too.  I'm not sure if it's just my original training, or that 
combined with the "garbage in/garbage out" that was such a mantra in the 
early days of computing.  I noticed in shooting the C2000 last week that 
I let the camera meter the scene (both A and P), and ignored the 
highlights which looked a bit blown on the LCD thingy.  I did that 
because the digi-experts here said that's what to do ... at least I 
think that's what was said... I start to glaze over about the 3rd or 4th 
post when it comes to digital workflow.  I have yet to really work with 
the image (which may end up in the current TOPE) to tame the highlights, 
and I THINK the histogram looks OK, but I'll have to re-read some 
threads to refresh my memory.  Then throw in monitor calibration, etc... 
Seems fussy to me, in my brain that keep saying "just get it right in 
the camera".
