Paul:  I have both lenses.  I have no direct comparison shots to show 
you, but I do have some Kodachromes made with the 2.8 that were pleasing 
to me.  If I get the chance before your decision, I could have one or 
two scanned.  But I'm sure others will have lots of good input, as 
Fernando has.
