ps:  I note that the fit of an OM lens into the adapter is about the 
same as an OM mount on the camera.  Lens locks in smoothly with no 
appreciable free play after it clicks into place.  But I do think it is 
hand machined.  There are some tool chatter marks on the inside which 
looks like it was done when cutting the threads which serve as a light 
baffle.  I think the material is chrome plated brass/bronze casting but 
I'm not sure.
