In the late 1950s I mixed a half-case of Thunderbird with a like amount of
Squirt and four of us consumed the whole damn mess. One of the girls needed
to throw up and did it in the shower because she couldn't get enough
elevation to do it in the toilet. She is very religious now. The hangovers
were of legendary magnitude. I still cringe at the thought of T-bird. It may
be OK in moderation but I will never know. /jmac

Uh, that's just WRONG. Tonight I have Bandit 2002 cab sauv (California)
from a .... wait for it .... /tetrapak/ box! My beloved it bought it
for me just to try, as the staff at the wine store said, "It's actually
not bad at all." (Like what else would they say; they had tons of it
and wanted to sell it!) Well, it's OK, and to go with burgers tonight,
it's not a waste of money. But it is a bit young and could use some
aging. But will it age in a freakin' juice box? I'll never know cuz no
dad-gummed tetrapak will ever enter my cellar!
