I think I first saw it mentioned on the Contax N1. Google

(Hmm, if Canon have implemented it on a camera, maybe if
they implemented it on their DSLR's in such a way that you
picked which bracket you always wanted to use, they could
call it "AF adjust" and get rid of those claims of front/back
-focus problem as with the 10D...)
Personally, the subtleties (not the obvious benefits) of White
Balance are often lost on me, and I always wonder if it's
a consequence of my partial colour blindnesss, or just a
general aesthetic deficiency. :-) Maybe that's why I prefer
b&w too.
