Thanks for the heads up, Bill.
This one was included in the group of three you recently pointed out.
Moreover, I had already noticed it thanks Tom, as pasted below.
Agree it looks great, with its proper case and a good deal indeed, albeit no
hood _ which I think it to be important for this particular lens.

But it's far away. If my sister was still living in Rome, I could at least
skip import duties. Customs taxes in my country would make me paying it 800
at least (could you believe this?). Add shipping... - I'm not planning a
holiday in Europe for the next weeks ('though my wife insists in coming back
to Paris next year, it will be too late). Noone in Germany coming to Punta
del Este these days? _ maybe interesting: the Bahía de Maldonado is being
visited by a dozen whales some twenty meters from the seashore :^)

Best wishes,

Fernando.

There are two 135/4.5s available right now in Germany:
http://tinyurl.com/7hery

Use Advanced Search to look for items located in "any country".
Many times if you email the seller, they will be willing to ship to
you anyway.
But watch that you can pay by Paypal or postal money order. Other
options are expensive.

You can also choose to have a daily report made to you by email of
up to 30 searches for up to a year.
Click on the "Add to Favourites" on the right side of any search.
There will be an option to email you with new items daily.

Having a BIN window open, eg http://tinyurl.com/9pa3j , will allow
you to keep an eye out for BINs which are bargains.

PS:
wow, ebay is so 'Unheimliche' to me that right now I'm realizing that BIN
stands for Buy it Now... go figure.
