And at least two Antonov An-2, neither Brit not German (and definitely not
US!). Some very nice stuff there, Chris, both subjects and images. I had
no idea that Gransden was still an operating field, let alone with an
airshow. Today was our village show, which this year managed a flypast by
BBMF - Spitfire, Hurricane and Lancaster. I was caught out, expecting them
to come over at 1000ft, I had chosen a 500mm mirror + a 2x TC which made it
hard to keep focus when they turned up at 295' AGL. Is that legal? Never
mind, it was a great display - they provided three overflights, with some
opps for shots of the loops at the end of each run. Fingers crossed!

I went to a local air show yesterday at a very small airfield, Little
Gransden. I took an E-1, a C-60 and a XA4. The E-1 did me proud, but the
C-60 is ergonimically a bit difficult. Also the results are far inferior to
the E-1. I think I might sell it and get a Lumix
FX9 ...

Anyway, here are some of the results: http://www.threeshoes.co.uk/ aircraft/

There were some lovely old aircraft, some US, some Brit and one German
(Buecker Jungman).
